The Ideation Lab is the core of the YIAW experience: a guided, 5-step learning pathway that helps young people build foundational skills, explore creative problem-solving, and translate ideas into solutions aligned with real industry needs.

Foundations
Youth begin with accessible, beginner friendly modules in digital literacy, critical thinking, AI awareness, STEAAM basics, cybersecurity fundamentals, and mental wellbeing.

​Corporate-Aligned Ideation
Participants respond to real partner challenges submitted through our Corporate Sponsorship Program (CSP) — bridging creativity with real-world needs.

Creative Exploration
Students explore concepts through hands on activities, creative prompts, storytelling, guided research, and interactive challenges that ignite imagination.

Solution Brainstorming
Youth learn to identify problems, form insights, analyze root causes, and generate a portfolio of early-stage ideas.

Presentation & Micro-Credentialing
Each youth completes a final deliverable, presents their solution, and earns a micro-credential recognizing their learning pathway.
